When you hire Arch Photo Studio, you’re not renting an empty room and sourcing everything separately. The space, the lighting, the kit, and the facilities all come with your booking. Here’s exactly what’s waiting for you when you arrive.
The Space
The studio is a 112 sq m railway arch in Camberwell, SE5 — 14m deep, 8m wide, and 4.75m at the apex. It’s a significant amount of room for a London studio at this price point. You get 5–6m of camera-to-subject distance for full-length fashion work and a stage area of 6m × 5m to build your set into. The arch construction gives you full blackout — no fighting with ambient light, no time-of-day restrictions on when you can shoot. Ground floor throughout, no steps, easy load-in.

All lighting is included in your hire rate at every tier — no need to bring your own kit or pay extra for the flash heads. The studio runs both flash and continuous setups, suitable for product, portrait, fashion, and video work.

Robbie Is On Site
This isn’t a studio that hands over the keys and disappears. Robbie is on site for the full duration of every hire — available to change backgrounds, help with the boom arm, and keep things moving. On Standard tier he’s on call throughout. On Premium he’s essentially part of your crew: an extra pair of eyes, helping with reflectors, wind machines, and anything else that comes up. After thousands of shoots in this space, he has a good sense of what needs to happen and when.
What Isn’t Included
Photography services are separate. Arch Photo Studio is a hire studio — you bring your own photographer, or you can commission Robbie directly for portraits and commercial work. Hair and MUA are also down to you to arrange, though the studio has the space and equipment to accommodate your team when they arrive.
