Included In Studio Hire
Arch Photo Studio
A flexible photo studio hire space located in a 1200 sq ft railway arch off Camberwell Road in south London. Approximately 900 sq ft of the arch space has been set up for photography and videography. We provide an affordable South London photography studio for photographers, creatives and small business owners to shoot their stills & videos.
We have flash and continuous lighting that are included in the rental price. You need to bring your camera and creativity. Unlike a lot of studios, all our lighting is included. No paying extra or having to carry all your lights around.
We only charge for the paper if you insist on a pristine new section. It’s a photography space set up by a photographer for creative people. You need to bring your camera or a photographer / videographer. Consider the benefits of using a studio for your next shoot.
We have a large range of light modifiers with Bowens mounts including softboxes, beauty dishes, snoots, fresnel spots, umbrellas, gobo projectors, magnum reflectors, and standard reflectors with barn doors and grids. See the full list below. Check out the BTS Gallery to see the lights and modifiers in action.
The London photography studio space is ideal for photography, filming, and running workshops. The arch location is also good for filming music videos. Our location means we can make a fair bit of noise and not annoy any of our neighbours.
The studio isn’t soundproofed and it’s a railway arch so there is train noise regularly. It’s not suitable for shooting long sequences. The photography studio is only suitable for strobe or continuous light work as there is no natural light.
There is a white MDF stage and a back wall to which objects can be attached to. We have a selection of around 20 backdrop papers. White obviously, warm and cool mid greys, dark charcoal grey as standard, plus a range of colours including; pink, yellow, red, purple, beige and neutrals, various blues. Call for details.
Tabletop supports and sheet materials for smaller product photography setups are also available. Arch Photo Studio is also my workshop, so we have a range of tools and equipment that can be used for set building. Call for details on how we can help you with your photo studio hire in London.
We also have a range of props and fabrics that can be used to create rooms. We have 4 poly board stands when combined with the black backdrops allow you to create intimate rooms where you can just light the subject as shown in the above image.

The owner Robbie Ewing can also provide photography services for small businesses and individuals at competitive rates. He focuses on portraits, products and eComm fashion, creating commercial / lifestyle imagery for small and medium-sized companies. Most photographers don’t have studios, so studio hire is an additional cost. Booking a photographer with a studio will save you money.
As a professional photographer, Robbie works with a wide range of businesses and individual clients creating product, commercial and portrait images. We offer a creative client-friendly service and put the extra effort in to make sure your photo or video shoot goes smoothly.
The studio space was a rather run-down railway arch. We’ve slowly renovated it into a studio and workshop. We also run an online shop selling exhibition display equipment from the same premises. The pandemic severely impacted this display business. So we pivoted to something else to survive. Photography had been a hobby since 2005 and hiring the space out to other creatives seemed an obvious way to generate new revenue.
Photo Studio Floor Plan
This is my studio and you are using the kit I use for my own portrait and product photography. It’s not as plush as some of the larger London photography studios, but I don’t charge the same rates as them and everything is inclusive with no hidden extras. I’m also on hand to help if required for a small additional fee. You also have access to all the tools and props I’ve accumulated at no extra cost. If you have any questions please get in touch.
